Contains 42 pages of 300gsm Cold Pressed (NOT) Arches Aquarelle watercolour paper
Arches Aquarelle watercolour paper is acid-free and chlorine free, made of 100% cotton fibres which provide strength and stability.
- 100% cotton, professional grade watercolour paper
- Produced on a cylinder mould with pure French stream water in the same mill since 1494
- Made with natural gelatin sizing contains no optical brighteners
- Excellent for watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, acrylics and calligraphy
Arches Aquarelle uses no optical brighteners so it's natural white colour will not yellow with age and archival value is ensured. Arches Aquarelle is excellent for watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, acrylics and calligraphy.
Made from rustic brown leather, this journal looks better and better the more it is handled and used. Using a double page gives a great 3:1 ratio for landscape painting or sketching.
The leather strap is held in place with a hand hammered copper rivet and wraps around the book twice.
All my leather journals are handbound using natural hemp thread.
