Handmade leather watercolour journal. 7.5" x 5.5" (20cm x 14.5cm)
Made from rustic brown leather, this journal looks better the more it is used and handled.
Filled with 40 pages of handtorn 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper from the local mill, this journal is perfect for watercolour sketches or working with other mixed media requiring a little extra heft. Using a double page gives a great 3:1 ratio for landscape painting or sketching.
The leather strap is held in place with a hand hammered copper rivet and twists around the book twice.
All my leather journals are handbound using natural hemp thread and use paper made locally a couple of miles from my studio.
